Most true and sincere devotees of Bhagwan Shiva strive to get a Vision or Darshan of their Ishta Devta Mahadev in a Dream. In this post, I have written about a rare and potent Mantra Sadhana for seeing Lord Shiva in a dream and being blessed by him.
The Procedure of Practicing the Shiva Swapna Darshan Mantra Sadhana:
1] The Mantra Sadhana can be practiced on any day or any Monday, which is an auspicious day for starting any Mantra Sadhana or Worship of Shiva. The Sadhana should be practiced at night before going to sleep. The practitioner should take care not to consume heavy meals and avoid digital screens, such as TV and Mobile Phones, on the day of the Mantra Sadhana.
2] The practitioner should have a bath or at least wash his hands, feet, and face before starting the Mantra Sadhana. He should wear white colored clothes and meditate upon the Universal Form of Bhagwan Shiva for a minute or so and then light a Diya in front of a Shivling or a Photograph of Shiva, and then sit down and chant any one of the two Shiva Swapna Darshan Mantras 108 times using a Rudraksha Beads Jaap Mala.
3] The practitioner can get a Darshan of Lord Shiva on the first day of the Mantra Sadhana. However, it is essential to practice the Mantra Sadhana for at least three consecutive days. The practitioner should maintain a Pure Lifestyle and practice the Mantra Sadhana with a pure mind without expecting anything in return for practicing the Sadhana.
4] After completing the Shiva Darshan Mantra Sadhana, the practitioner should close his eyes and say with emotion: “O Lord Shiva, please bless me with your Divine Darshan – even if it is in a dream. I want your love, please bless me.”
First Mantra for Darshan of Bhagwan Shiva:
ॐ नमः शिवाय शुभं शुभं कुरु स्वप्ने महादेव दर्शय स्वाहा ||
Om Namah Shivaya Shubham Shubham Kuru Swapne Mahadev Darshaya Swaha ||
Second Mantra for Darshan of Bhagwan Shiva:
ॐ देव देव महादेव त्रिलोकेश जगत्पते। स्वप्ने मे दर्शनं देहि यथासुखं मम प्रिये॥
The meaning of this Shiva Mantra: O Trilokinath Mahadev! Please appear to me in your dreams at night as your beloved devotee and give me happiness.
5] Both the Mantras given above serve the same purpose, hence, the practitioner can select any one of them and chant it for the Mantra Sadhana.

We should not be disappointed even if we do not get an actrual darshan because it also depends on our karma right?

Can it work with those ?
A lot of the practices saying to use these beads but we don’t get authentic ones
We get the synthetic ones
If the Sadhana says use a Rudraksha Mala, then use one. However, counting counters and plastic malas come in the same category, depends upon how you look at it.

I had a dream about the plane crash that happened from India.
Please note i did not had any interactions with anyone , I did not know about a plane crash or anything , later in the day i usually sleep during my lunch hours , i went to bed and sleep.
the plane crash however happened on a island with those shallow waters.
I rushed to the pilot and ask if he is okay.
he said he cant make it , he wont go like this infront his wife and kids , like he was crushed up.
so he asked me to give him one last light
i reached into his pocket and light his cigarette and he puffed.

i do alot of prayers and im been maintaining a vege lifestyle etc.

what could this dream mean? could i have tapped into something that I can now focus more on and gain more ESP dreams etc how to go forward , this isnt a normal dream. People died and it's weird i rushed to the pilot and i was like the only one alive.

Very interesting, it seem that you had a precognitive dream about the unfortunate plane crash that happened in India.
DeleteBoth the Pilots were unmarried, but it seems that you connected with one of them whose last wish was to smoke a cigarette or something else because cigarette often symbolize last wishes.

So my first night trying

an overwhelming feeling of happinness came to me , like i couldnt stop smiling
it felt like one of those feelings you get when you worship krishna..
however i did not get any dream as yet.

I opened a sacred box, and inside was a beautiful 108-bead Rudraksha mala — the kind I always wanted. Real, original. It had weight, presence. And alongside it was a thicker Rudraksha bead — short, like the ones swamis wear around their neck.
It even had purple, ball-shaped flowers woven into it. Everything looked divine.
📿 What it Meant:
• The 108 Rudraksha mala is used for chanting — it’s sacred and complete. Seeing it in a dream means I’ve been spiritually gifted the power to start deeper japa. It’s like Shiva saying, “You’re ready to use My name.”
• The thick, short Rudraksha is what’s called a Guru Rudraksha — it symbolizes spiritual authority, grounding, and inner guidance. It’s usually placed at the center of a mala or worn alone. Dreaming of it means I’m being shown that Shiva recognizes me as someone walking a spiritual path with sincerity.
• And the purple flowers? That’s the energy of the crown chakra — connection to the divine. A sign that something higher has opened in me, even without me realizing.
I thought I missed my chance with Shiva.
But He came anyway — not with a trishul, but with a gift.
A dream. A blessing. A quiet “Yes.”
