Dnyaneshwari Remedy for Spine Disorders

Today is the 700th anniversary of the Dnyaneshwari [ज्ञानेश्वरी], the great Marathi text in which Sant Dnyaneshwar explained the true meaning of the verses of the Bhagavad-Gita. The Dnyaneshwari is one of the most sacred holy texts in Maharashtra, read every day with utmost devotion and sincerity by Millions of devotees of Sant Dnyaneshwar, especially the Warkari Sampradaya.

A deeply spiritual person, who is a devotee of Sant Dnyaneshwar told me abbot a very interesting remedy to get relief from any kind of problem related to the Spinal Cord, like Slip Disc, Chronic Back Pain, Sciatica and any kind of injury and damage of this body part.

The person suffering from any kind of Spinal Cord ailment, disease or injury should loudly read like a Mantra the Ovi Number 1 to 5 [ Ovi is the Marathi name for verse ] of Adhayay 10[Chapter 10] of the Dnyaneshwari, at least 8 to 10 times every day.

The chanting should be in this manner-One and a half Ovi should be read in a single breath and half an Ovi in the next breath. Ovi number 1 to 5 in the original Marathi script composed by Sant Dnyaneshwar is given below.

      The English version of the Dnyaneshwari can be consulted, you can easily find these verses, which have been taken from the 10th Chapter.

    Neel Sir, i see ur YouTube videos as well & many times i had requested u to kindly make a YouTube video for this Dhyaneshwari mantra for spinal problem but u didn't even permitted to publish my request. Did i asked u to do anything wrong then why my request hasn't been considered by you. The reason to request for this video is that u have clearly mentioned a specific way to chant this mantra but somewhere it is not understandable so please consider my request & put YouTube video of this mantra. Many people need it including my old age mother. Regards Shalini

      These verses are part of chapter 10, which is a large chapter, the correct pronunciation of these 5 verses can be seen in the First Minute of this video given by another channel on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMgOL2Uk7As

      In case it is not possible for you to chant them as described in the post, you can chant them loudly as chanted in the video.
