Chinese Protection Charm Kuan Kung

The idol of the Chinese God Kuan Kung as per Feng Shui is said to be a most powerful charm for protection, strength and money. Kuan Kung also known as Guan Yu, was a legendary warlord, known for his military skills and exploits; which immortalized him in Chinese folklore and culture and raised  him to the level of a deity.

He is widely worshipped by Buddhists as well as Taoists in China and most of the Orient. His idol is one of the most important of the Chinese Charms; kept either in the home or the work place. The face of Kung Kung, in the idol is always angry. The more the anger on the face; the more powerful is said to be the idol.

The ideal location of the idol is facing the main door; kept at a height, just a little bit short of the main door. This is so because a person standing just outside the main door of the house or workplace can view the full statue; if it is positioned at a reasonable elevation.

This Charm is said to give not only protection and wealth; but the cooperation of powerful and influential persons. There is no need to worship the idol; however it should be kept clean to attract the most powerful vibrations.

  1. Can we instead use a picture other than an idol?

    1. No the Charm spoken of is an idol; a picture may not give the desired results fully

  2. aum sairama. Feng shui will not work in India. Weare diametrically opposite to Chinese culture and they are always an enemy COUNTRY. Let us not probagate Fengshui which is absolutely opposite in principles of Vastu the greatest treasure we have.
